Overview
I recently finished up a bike build of the pictured Specialized Hard Rock and had been gathering lots of inspiration of people making their own bags for Wald baskets (the specific one I’m using is a Wald 137 with mounting hooks removed, and zip-tied to a second-hand Nitto Campee Mini-Front Rack). Originally I bought the fabric and notions to make a bike frame bag, but ultimately decided against it as I still wanted the freedom to lock this bike up outside for a while and not worry about taking the bag on and off, and having it be a funky shape to carry.

Pattern References
The “base” of this pattern can be found here, originally posted on the /r/MYOG subreddit here. I then added some additional layers to get inner and outer pockets, and space for foam to stabilize the bag inside of the basket.
